World Diabetes Day
World Diabetes Day falls on November 14th and has several objectives, including raising awareness about the seriousness of diabetes and its global prevalence; encouraging early screening; disseminating information about prvention methods; and supporting patients and explaining the importance of regular treatment.
The official sybmbol of World Diabetes Day is the blue circle, representing global solidarity against diabetes and hope for improving the lives of those living with the disease. We can show our solidarity by wearing blue, getting tested for diabetes, and encouraging others to exercise and eat healthily.
